On July 2, 2025, the Ottawa Senators announced the signing of forward Arthur Kaliyev to a one-year, two-way contract. The terms of the NHL deal were not disclosed. Kaliyev, 24, previously played for the Los Angeles Kings and the New York Rangers, accumulating 75 points (38 goals, 37 assists) in 202 regular-season games. Last season, he played 14 games with the Rangers, scoring three goals and one assist after being claimed off waivers from the Kings.

Additionally, the Senators secured the contracts of forwards Wyatt Bongiovanni, Hayden Hodgson, and Olle Lycksell, as well as goaltender Hunter Shepard, all on one-year, two-way deals. Ottawa also signed netminder Jackson Parsons to a three-year entry-level contract.
